Where They Create is a selection of 32 artist / creative studio’s and offices from all around the world, that where shot by Australian photographer Paul Barbera. The book has a hard bound silkscreened cover. Each book has a cover sticker of one of the 32 participants from the book. This making for 32 different book covers. The layout is a mix of small and large images, zooming in and out of details, emphasizing the voyeuristic nature of Pauls’ photographs. The studio portraits are accompanied by an interview that introduces each of the studio’s.

Studio Adriaan Mellegers is a small independent graphic design studio in Amsterdam (NL). From 2003–2005 Adriaan Mellegers was a participant in the design department of the Jan van Eyck Academie (NL). Since leaving the Jan van Eyck Adriaan has been working for clients and on projects in the fields of fine art, architecture, design and fashion. Since 2012 Adriaan Mellegers also teaches typography at the Royal Academy of Art in the Hague, NL (KABK).
